High above Central Park, in a raw industrial space, Carolina Herrera transformed its Fall 2025 presentation into an enchanted garden. Creative director Wes Gordon brought the duality of nature and the city to life, creating a runway where 3,000 ranunculus flowers seemed to bloom through the concrete floor.

“Growth has its season,” Gordon wrote in the show notes. “As long as the roots are not severed, all is well and all will be well.” This message of renewal and continuity echoed throughout the collection, celebrating the power of florals even in the coldest months.

The Aesthetic: Winter in Bloom

Winter florals took center stage, appearing in vibrant prints, intricate embroidery, and shimmering textures. The silhouettes were fluid and romantic, featuring billowing gowns and flowing fabrics that added movement and elegance to the runway.

But the collection wasn’t all about florals. Clean black-and-white lace combinations brought a sophisticated contrast, while slinky sheer knit dresses covered in paillettes introduced a modern, sensual edge. And for those keeping an eye on trends, one thing stood out: capes are making a comeback.

The Impact

More than just a fashion show, Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2025 collection was an ode to femininity and rebirth, proving that even in winter, style can bloom. Blending romance, sophistication, and a touch of daring, Wes Gordon reaffirms the brand’s legacy—keeping its roots intact while paving the way for the future.
