After exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Sicily, Puglia, and Sardinia in recent years, Dolce & Gabbana is set to take a historic step in its journey across Italy. In July 2025, the maison will make its debut in Italy’s capital, Rome, unveiling its luxurious Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria collections in one of the most anticipated events on the international fashion calendar.
The shows, planned to take place at iconic Roman landmarks — still under wraps — promise to celebrate Italian craftsmanship, cultural history, and the architectural grandeur that makes the Eternal City so unique.
“For us, it’s the realization of a great dream,” say Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. “Rome, with its grandeur, monuments, and hidden corners steeped in history, embodies the essence of our love for Italy.”
Since launching their first Haute Couture collection in 2012, Dolce & Gabbana has opted for an exclusive and itinerant format, presenting their creations in Italy’s most iconic locations, away from the spotlight of Paris Haute Couture Week. Each edition transforms cities like Milan, Venice, and Palermo into stages for spectacular fashion displays, highlighting local artisans and celebrating the savoir-faire of Italian craftsmanship.
“With every collection, we aim to convey a deep connection to culture and local traditions,” the designers explain. “To present our creations in Rome, with its unique character and hidden treasures that tell a story rooted in our identity, is truly extraordinary.”
This upcoming edition in Rome continues to embrace what the brand describes as a “Grand Tour of an ideal Italy.” Designed for an exclusive audience of elite clients and close friends of the maison, the event promises to immerse attendees in timeless elegance and Italian heritage.
“Rome is an extraordinary city that embodies our love for Italy and its history. For artists and creatives of all time, it has always been, and will always be, an inexhaustible source of inspiration,” Dolce and Gabbana declare.
The choice of the Eternal City as the backdrop for this milestone event couldn’t be more symbolic. With its layers of history and unparalleled beauty, Rome reflects not only Italy’s glorious past but also its enduring ability to inspire contemporary creations. In 2025, the city will not merely be a setting but an integral part of Dolce & Gabbana’s dazzling narrative.
