In a month filled with surprises, December witnessed the iconic Angelina Jolie opening her first fashion boutique, Atelier Jolie, in Lower Manhattan, at the historic 57 Great Jones Street. Framed by a two-story building steeped in the rich tapestry of New York's history, Atelier Jolie becomes a convergence point between modern elegance and artistic tradition.
This new fashion haven offers a unique experience, featuring an appointment-only fitting room on the second floor. Atelier Jolie showcases garments crafted from vintage materials and old stocks, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and uniqueness in every stitch.
Beyond being a destination for fashion enthusiasts, the store houses a charming café offering Turkish coffee and Syrian mini pies. An invitation for customers to immerse themselves not only in fashion but also in a gastronomic experience that transcends the conventional boundaries of boutiques.
The Atelier Jolie brand weaves its visual narrative around the artistic heritage of 57 Great Jones Street. Once a saloon and headquarters for the Five Points Gang, this building was transformed by Andy Warhol in the 1970s. Since then, renowned artists from Keith Haring to Madonna have left their mark, while Jean-Michel Basquiat not only lived but also painted his legacy in the upstairs studio loft.
