On the second day of the highly anticipated Milan Fashion Week, Fendi introduced an innovative and nostalgic approach to the runway with its Summer 2025 collection. Silvia Venturini Fendi, the creative force behind the brand's accessories and menswear, is paving the way for Fendi's centennial celebration next year.

The new collection dives deeply into the preppy universe, inspired by traditional collegiate uniforms. Classic elements such as crest-emblazoned sweaters, stylized ties, and iconic plaids took center stage. However, Venturini Fendi added a modern twist to these pieces, with elongated shirts and polos featuring diagonal buttoning from the neck to the ribcage. This unconventional approach also appeared in silk knits that reveal the shoulders, imparting a sense of lightness and ease to the collection.

A soft color palette, particularly highlighting sandy tones, complements this contemporary reinterpretation of the preppy style. The combination of light colors reinforces a new vision of masculinity that is more sensitive and relaxed.

Accessories played a pivotal role in the collection. Ballet flats, for instance, added a casual and comfortable touch, while the iconic baguette bag, this time carried by hand, offered a blend of practicality and style.
