Revitalizing Classics with a Retro Touch

Photos Disclosure Gucci / Launchmetrics Spotlight

On September 20th, Gucci unveiled its Spring 2025 collection in a highly anticipated show at the Triennale di Milano. Under the creative direction of Sabato de Sarno, the event captivated attendees, including stars like Dakota Johnson and Kirsten Dunst in the front row.

The collection drew heavily from the vibrant aesthetics of the 1960s and 1970s, embodying an era of freedom and innovation. Pieces showcased A-line silhouettes and a striking color palette that transitioned from orange to the deep Ancora red, evoking the enchanting feel of a sunset. A standout look featured a white tank top with red trim paired with Flora scarves and oversized round glasses, embodying a style that is both nostalgic and contemporary.

A Classic Resurrected

In addition to new designs, Gucci resurrected one of its classics, reinforcing its legacy in the fashion world. This blend of tradition and modernity illustrates Sarno’s vision to not only revive the past but also reinterpret it for today’s audience.
