The wait is over! The official list of nominees for the 2025 Oscars was finally unveiled this Thursday (23), in an announcement that came with high expectations after two delays caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles. The reveal was made on the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ official website and social media channels, with actors Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang hosting the announcement.


Marking its 97th edition, the Oscars ceremony will take place on March 2nd, hosted by the witty Conan O’Brien, promising a night full of glamour, emotions, and, of course, big surprises.


With a total of 23 categories, this year’s list of nominees highlights the diversity and strength of contemporary cinema, showcasing productions that blend innovation, deep storytelling, and a strong connection with audiences.
