The PUMA classic was originally launched as part of a special series of sneakers created to pay homage to famous capitals of Europe, in this case, the capital of the Italian island of Sicily, which lent its name to the Palermo. The sneaker, making its big comeback in 2023, celebrates 45 years since its creation and is part of PUMA's initiative to reissue its most iconic sneakers that have left a mark on generations worldwide through sports, culture, and lifestyle.
