The film tells the story of the highly qualified yet underestimated Rita, a lawyer at a major firm more interested in getting criminals out of jail than bringing them to justice. One day, she gets an unexpected opportunity when cartel leader Manitas hires her to help him exit the business and fulfill a secret plan he has been preparing for years: to become the woman he has always dreamed of being.
