On the cover of the September edition of Hooks Magazine's "Model" issue, we have the honor of presenting the stunning Thainara Alves, an international model born in São Paulo, Brazil, who has conquered the world of fashion with her unique beauty and a truly inspiring approach.
Thainara Alves is a model who took a different path compared to most models. She not only found success outside of Brazil but also captivated the world with her presence on runways and in fashion editorials. Her journey to success is a testament to her determination, talent, and passion for fashion.
Her exclusive photos on the cover of Hooks Magazine capture the essence of Thainara's Latin beauty, which shines unmistakably.
Away from the cameras and runways, Thainara Alves leads a purpose-driven life dedicated to supporting social projects. Her passion for making a difference in people's lives is equally inspiring. She uses her platform and visibility to create positive impact in causes that are important to her, demonstrating that beauty goes far beyond outward appearance.
Check out an Exclusive Interview with the Model:
1. Thainara, how did you decide to venture into the international fashion market instead of following the more common path in Brazil?
It was quite accidental, actually. At the beginning, I pursued the more natural path of building a career in Brazil. But soon, I received an offer to work abroad. I was taken aback and initially thought it might not be real, but I believe it was the path meant for me, and everything has been going remarkably well since then.
2. Your photographs are praised for capturing a unique Brazilian beauty. What do you believe makes Brazilian beauty so special, and how do you incorporate it into your work?
As a tropical country with natural beauty, Brazilian women couldn't escape that. Carefully sculpted bodies with the typical Brazilian tan and expressions with unique features. They're the "famous Brazilians" (laughs). In photographs, I always aim to express that naturalness, translating it into unique expressions that showcase the beauty of Brazilian women.
3. In addition to your modeling career, you also dedicate yourself to social projects. Could you share a bit about these projects and why they are important to you?
I've always enjoyed helping people, but I didn't know how or where to do it. So, in the past year, I made an effort to focus more on specific causes. Today, I support two projects: "Growing with Health," a project that recently emerged in the state of SC and aims to help children develop in sports; and "Vencer Institute" in SP, which brings jiu-jitsu to communities. Additionally, I'm involved in the social initiative "For the Community," which aims to provide food and clothing to communities in SC and now SP.
4. How do you find a balance between your international modeling career and your commitment to social projects? Is it challenging to juggle both?
Whenever I take on any responsibility in my life, I assess whether I'll be able to fulfill it. Since I'm constantly traveling outside of Brazil, I know I can't be 100% present, so I have someone who helps me manage these projects. When I return to Brazil, I can be much more involved and present in them.
5. You mentioned that you captivate with every click. What are your main inspirations and influences in fashion and photography?
I've always understood that photography is an art, and with every click, I aim to express the beauty to the fullest. It's as if that photo were crafted by a great artist on an inspired day. Who knows, maybe my photo becomes the next artistic inspiration (laughs). I love my work!
6. What advice would you give to young Brazilian models who aspire to follow in your footsteps and achieve international success in the fashion industry?
Practice expressions, immerse yourself in photos. This makes a significant difference in the international market.
