Alessandro Michele, known for his transformative work at Gucci, has been appointed as the new creative director of Maison Valentino.
In a statement, Michele expressed his profound honor and excitement, stating,

This announcement puts an end to 14 months of speculation regarding Michele's next move following his departure from Gucci. The Roman designer's first day at the esteemed fashion house, also based in the city, will be next Tuesday, April 2nd.
His debut collection is slated to be the Summer 2025 line, expected to grace the runways of Paris Fashion Week in September.
