After a four-year hiatus, Victoria’s Secret made its highly anticipated return to the runway, and this time, the brand embraced a new era of inclusivity and diversity.

The show, held today, marked a significant shift in the brand’s approach, featuring a range of models that broke away from its once rigid beauty standards.

The event kicked off with a performance by Lisa, the Thai singer from the global phenomenon BLACKPINK. Her electrifying presence set the tone for the night, as Gigi Hadid, the first model to hit the runway, dazzled in a stunning ensemble.

But this wasn’t just any show—Victoria’s Secret brought a lineup that represented the modern woman in all her forms.

For the first time, models over 50, plus-size icons, and trans women graced the catwalk. Standout names included Ashley Graham and Paloma Elsesser, who were among seven plus-size models showcasing the diversity of body types now celebrated by the brand.

Their presence was a powerful reminder that beauty transcends size, a message reinforced by the radiant Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, who returned to the stage as two of the most iconic faces in the brand’s history.

A historic moment unfolded when Valentina Sampaio, the first transgender model for Victoria’s Secret, took to the runway. Her appearance symbolized the brand’s new commitment to inclusion, further highlighted by veterans like Kate Moss, who at 50, strutted to the beat of “I Love Rock N’ Roll,” showing that age is no barrier to rocking the runway.

Joining her were fellow supermodels Carla Bruni, 56, and Eva Herzigová, 51, adding timeless elegance to the event.

Musical performances were as vibrant as the runway itself. Tyla, the South African singer, followed Lisa’s act, dazzling the audience as she performed wearing the iconic Victoria’s Secret wings. The night culminated in a showstopping performance by Cher, who brought the house down with her hit “Do You Believe in Life After Love?” as the models paraded in stunning red lingerie.

In a nostalgic yet empowering finale, Tyra Banks, a 90s legend and an advocate for body positivity, closed the show. The former “America’s Next Top Model” host, known for breaking boundaries in fashion, led the final walk as confetti rained down, followed by the entire cast of models—a symbolic end to a night that celebrated beauty in all its forms.

This was the first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since 2018, following years of controversy surrounding the brand’s lack of diversity and its objectification of women. Today’s event marked a turning point, proving that the brand is ready to evolve and redefine what it means to be a Victoria’s Secret model. With a cast that spanned different ages, sizes, and backgrounds, this show was not just a return—it was a revolution.
